By tier, not by simple multiplication. Five days may bill as a week if the weekly rate is cheaper, and you are never charged more than rounding up to the next tier.
Can I collect it myself?
Yes. Choose yard pickup at booking and there is no delivery charge. Bring suitable transport and tie-downs; the yard will tell you the transport weight.
What if I need it for longer?
Message the supplier through the booking before your off-hire date and they extend it at the same rate, moving you into a cheaper band if the extension earns it.
When is my card charged?
When you book. The money is held and only released to the supplier once the equipment is back with them, so if it never arrives you are covered.
