One project, three procurement streams

Almost every build needs people, materials and machines. Quoted separately they are three sets of phone calls and three sets of paperwork. Quoted together they are a budget you can plan against.

Find Trades

Describe the work and verified local trades come back with a price. Compare their offers, ratings and licences, ask questions in the thread, then pick one. Nothing is charged until the job is finished.

  • Free to post, and no obligation to accept a bid
  • Ratings, reviews and verification on every trade
  • You pay once the work is signed off

Building Supplies

Lumber, hardware, plumbing, electrical, paint, flooring, fixtures. Put the list together with quantities and merchants who stock that department compete on it. Nothing carries a shelf price, because the rate for 200 bags is not the rate for five.

  • One list, priced as one order, by several merchants
  • Suppliers see how low the bidding is, never who bid it
  • Delivered to site, and paid for after it arrives
Price a materials list

Equipment Rental

Access, earthmoving, compaction, power and site services. Give your dates and see which local yards can genuinely cover them, with delivery, waiver and every fee in the price before you commit.

  • Real availability for your dates, not a callback
  • Delivery, waiver and fees priced up front
  • Payment held until the machine is back with the yard
Check availability

Post once. Get priced three ways.

One form, about three minutes, and the whole job goes out for pricing at the same time.

  1. 1

    Describe the project once

What you are building, where it is and roughly when. Then tick what you need priced: labour, materials, equipment, or all three.

  2. 2

    Local suppliers compete

Verified trades bid on the work, merchants price your materials list, and hire yards quote your dates. You are never obliged to accept any of it.

  3. 3

    Watch the real cost appear

Every quote lands in one project with a running total against your budget, plus the documents, messages and invoices for the whole build.

Why the quotes are worth comparing

πŸ”’
You pay after the work is done

Nothing is charged when you accept a quote. You pay each supplier once their part is finished or delivered.

Questions people ask first

What does it cost to use Hirepross?

Nothing to post a project and nothing to receive quotes. You pay the trade, the merchant or the hire yard for the work itself, and only once their part of the job is done.

How quickly will I hear back?

Most projects get their first quote within a day. Bigger jobs that need a site visit take longer, because a builder who quotes a basement without seeing it is guessing.

Do I have to use all three - labour, materials and equipment?

No. Tick only what you want priced. Plenty of people come for one trade and never open the other two, and the project page works exactly the same with one quote in it.

Are the trades checked?

Profiles show what has been verified - ID, insurance, licence number - and what has not, so you can see the difference rather than being told everyone is vetted.

When do I pay?

After the work is done and you are happy with it. Payment goes through the platform, so there is a record of what was agreed and what was paid.

What if the quotes come back higher than my budget?

You are not committed to any of them. Comparing three real prices for the same scope is useful even when the answer is that the job costs more than you thought.

Who we are

Hire Pross is where a construction project gets bought. Almost every job needs three things - somebody to do the work, materials to do it with, and equipment to do it on - and pricing them separately means three sets of phone calls, three sets of paperwork and no idea what the whole thing costs until it is too late to change anything. Here you describe the project once. Verified local contractors, merchants and hire yards compete for their part of it, and the real cost of your build appears in one place as the quotes come in.
