How hiring works

1
Pick your dates

Tell us when the machine has to be on site and when it comes off hire.

2
Compare yards

See who can actually cover those dates, and what the whole hire costs.

3
Book it

One booking, confirmed by the supplier, with the delivery window agreed up front.

4
Pay on return

Your money is held until the machine is back with the supplier and signed off.

: Rammers & Jumping Jacks

Before you compare rates on rammers & jumping jacks, settle the specification. Two machines in the same class can differ enough in reach, weight or power that only one of them can do your job.

The main classes here are diesel rammer, electric rammer, gas rammer. Work out which class you are in first, then compare suppliers inside it - comparing across classes on price alone is how the wrong machine ends up on site.

Ask what the rate actually includes. Delivery, collection, the damage waiver and any environmental fee are all real money, and a low headline rate can lose to a higher one once they are added.

Most of this class can be run without a formal ticket, but read the machine notes: site rules and insurers often ask for more than the law does.

How much does it cost to hire rammers & jumping jacks?

It depends on the size of the machine and how long you need it. Pick your dates on this page and each supplier shows the all-in price for exactly those days, including delivery and any fees, before you commit to anything.

How far ahead do I need to book?

We need 24 hours notice, and popular sizes go early in busy weeks. Booking two or three days out gives you the most choice of supplier.

Is delivery included?

Delivery and collection are priced separately by each supplier and shown in your quote before you pay. Where a machine can be collected from the yard, pickup is free.

Do I need a licence to operate rammers & jumping jacks?

Generally no formal ticket is needed, but check the listing: the supplier notes any training or certification they require before releasing the machine.

What happens if I need it for longer?

Tell the supplier before your off-hire date and they extend the booking at the same rate. If the extension crosses into a weekly or four-week band, the cheaper band applies.

What if the machine breaks down?

Call the supplier through your booking. Breakdowns that are not caused by misuse are their responsibility, and the hire clock stops while the machine is down.
